I am a researcher in Science and Technology Studies, with a background in sociology. I have a PhD from the University of Helsinki from 2024 and currently work as a postdoc in Populations and reproduction in situated Anthropocene realities: A study on the scientific governing of life forms across the Nordic region (POPULUS) at Tampere University.

I am interested in the interplay between science, technology, environment, and our bodies; what we know and what we want to do; and how these things shape what we know and what we want to do.

My doctoral thesis was on genetically modified mosquitoes in malaria control. I have also worked on AI and data literacy and non-animal methods in biosciences. 

Across my academic and non-academic and arts-based work, I have explored the topics of time, sensing as an embodied and technologically mediated practice, and human-non-human relations.
